The Nutcracker

Golden State Ballet welcomes you to the classic The Nutcracker. With choreography directed by Raúl Salamanca, you’ll follow Clara’s enchanting journey from dazzling scenery and exquisite costumes to the backdrop of Tchaikovsky’s score by the San Diego Symphony. City Ballet, another company, also performs The Nutcracker in the North County area. 

 
 

Makers Arcade Holiday Fair

Dec. 13 & 14 @ Broadway Pier

 
 
 


Two days. 140+ local makers. Food trucks and live music. This year, the Makers Arcade Holiday Fair at Broadway Pier is packed with activity, including make-and-take craft stations, photo booths, and interactive art and play areas. Later in the evening, enjoy the San Diego Bay Parade of Lights, watching the beautifully lit parade boats float by. 

 
 

Write Out Loud Story Concert

Celebrate the light and joy of the season as tales come to life at a holiday-themed story concert. The signature event of Write Out Loud, every story concert features short stories, poetry, and on occasion, music, performed by professional actors. This concert’s theme revolves around the theme, “Giving Season.”
