Based in Berlin, Curses is a musician and DJ renowned for blending new wave, Italo disco, and post-punk with haunting live vocals and a nostalgic touch of the ‘80s and ‘90s, crafting a truly cinematic club experience.
His latest album, Another Heaven, co-produced by Johnny Jewel, was released on the renowned synth-wave label Italians Do It Better in 2024. He has done vocals to Âme's "Shadow of Love" on Berlin’s iconic Innervisions label, staying true to his punk and new wave approach to electronic music. His previous albums were released on Dischi and fashion house, Saint Laurent. Curses has brought his unique sound to iconic venues such at Ibiza DC-10 and major festivals around the world. He also hosts the Together Alone radio show on Rinse FM France and curates the acclaimed Next Wave Acid Punx compilation series and party - a tribute to new beat, body musik, and proto-trance electro, which has gained a devoted global following, including strong support from BBC Radio 6.
