José Enrique Medina earned his BA in English from Cornell University. His first book, Haunt Me, won the 2025 Rattle Chapbook Prize. He writes poems, flash fiction and short stories. His work has appeared in Best Microfiction 2019 Anthology, The Los Angeles Review, Rattle, and many other publications. He is a VONA) fellow and founder of the Chickens & Poetry Residency for Writers.
Jen Cheng (she/ella/kir) is the current Poet Laureate of West Hollywood, author of a poetry collection Braided Spaces, and a Teaching Artist at The Loft Literary Center. Jen’s writing has been supported by the California Arts Council and Tin House Workshop. She is a multidisciplinary artist who blends East-West influences as Feng Shui Poetry. With stories for tween audiences, mystery detective fans, and queer love, Jen is a cross-pollinator and community curator.
