Eviction Notice is a collaborative, informal exhibition built by all who participate. Each artist is responsible for hanging and labeling their own artwork. In the spirit of community, this exhibition is a potluck. It’s not required, but if you’re able to bring something, we welcome it.
Why Eviction Notice:
San Diego’s rising rent costs are forcing many creatives to constantly move, adapt, and redefine what our spaces look like. Eviction Notice is more than an art exhibition; it is a moment of reflection on displacement, community, and adaptation. Set inside a gallery nearing its closure, the show honors a creative space in transition, filling its walls one last time with art, stories, and shared presence.
Curated by Cr34tive Gathering and hosted by Boree, this exhibition embraces the artistic spirit to create something intentional and meaningful. It is an informal yet thoughtful gathering where artists come together to share work, exchange ideas, and collectively hold space before it changes form.
Eviction Notice highlights the reality that creative spaces are difficult to sustain, but the relationships, memories, and energy built within them continue well beyond the walls. Join us in celebrating the artists, the closing of a chapter, and the resilience that keeps creativity alive, even in moments of uncertainty.
