Join us for an evening of flowers and fire — an opening, a portal to memory.
Dia de Los Muertos has long been celebrated in pre-Hispanic cultures as a moment to honor the thinning of the veil between the physical realm and the spirit realm. In the modern world that sometimes moves too quickly to grieve, altars invite us to slow down, remember, and reconnect us with those on the other side.
In the practice of tending to an altar, we create the space for our loved ones to meet us once more. Each intentional offering – flowers, food, photos – becomes a lantern, guiding the spirits on the other side to this shared meeting point.
Join us November 2nd for an evening of flowers, fire, memory, and ceremony — a collective portal of remembrance and renewal.
